Under the patronage of H.E. Minister of Commerce & Industry Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, the National Subcommittee for Ready-mix Concrete at the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) organized the first Saudi Concrete Conference. The conference was held with the attendance of H.E. SASO Dr. Sa’ad Bin Othman Al-Qasabi over 500 participants of ready- mix and other related sectors experts from inside and outside the Kingdom.
The conference was held in three avenues in Khobar, Riyadh, and Jeddah.
Mr. Sulaiman Al-Afaleq, Deputy President of the National Subcommittee for Read-mix Concrete and a Board member of AlKifah Holding stated in his opening speech at Khobar that the concrete conference is an excellent start towards a promising future for high quality concrete in the region.
The concrete sector in the Kingdom is an essential foundation of the country’s development since it is involved in all of infrastructure and manufacturing projects. This sector is agile with the great development in all aspects of quality, thus became a leading sector in the region in competency, production and agility.
It is worth mentioning that KRB has sponsored the conference, which such step reflects the direction and aspirations of the company. “The private sector’s support to these committees adds to us in the first place since these conferences contribute to the concrete industry, improve our products and make us take an advantage from the experts in the Saudi market”, said Mr. Khaled Alsaleem, CEO of Construction Solution Division. He also mentioned that KRB has been always a pioneer sponsor and supporter of conferences related to its industry.
