The Third Season of Sheikh Hassan Al-Afaleq Olympics.. Sport Games in Brotherly Spir

The third season of Sheikh Hassan Al-Afaliq Olympics has succeeded in enhancing its essential message that focuses on brotherly competitions to create harmony among employees and a healthy work environment.

This year, the Olympics included six sports for males and three for females. In order to create a collaborative environment, AlKifah Cooperated with a number of internal parties such as AlKifah Electronics and AlKifah Academy as well as external parties like Al-Ahsa Hospital, SRCA, AlFateh Club, Al Nahda Club, Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium, Fatat Al-Ahsa Development Charity, Al-Ahsa productive families, and Et’am Charity Association.

The Olympics lasted for two months starting with the opening ceremony at AlKifah Academy, under the patronage of Mr. Waleed Al-Afaleq, Chairman of the Board. The participating teams were picked based on a draw and the venue and rules of the competition were laid out. The organizers ensured clarification of all sporting activities for the audience.

The Olympics started with the female activities and ended with the final ceremony for all sports that held in Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium in Al-Ahsa. The ceremony included the Marathon, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball and Football, and then ended with recognition for all the winning teams.

It is worth mentioning that the number of participants reached 1082 male and female employees, with the highest number of participant in football (277) followed by cricket (196). The Olympics aim to increase physical and mental fitness, development of local sport community, and to create opportunities for AlKifah teams to participate in local competition.
