In line with the Saudi vision and the national transformation plan, which are based on the creation of opportunities and partnerships with the private sector, AlKifah Holding signed a memorandum of understanding with Tatweer Buildings Company to invest in the assets of the educational sector, on the sideline of the Investment and Finance in Educational Buildings Conference which was held in the Ministry of Education in Riyadh on January 10, 2017.
The agreement states that AlKifah Holding is responsible for the management, operation and investment of assets, especially in the field of education for the benefit of the two parties. Eng. Abdulaziz AlAfaleq, the CEO of AlKifah Holding, expressed his enthusiasm towards the agreement and explained that the recent developments which the kingdom has implemented in the education sector reflect the state’s interest in investing in human beings. He also remarked that this agreement is an effective step towards building a better future for the children of this country.
On the other hand, the conference highlighted the importance of improving and applying the latest methods of financing and investment in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council. The speakers also discussed a number of worksheets at the conference which poses new and global ideas and practices in the educational buildings sector.
“This conference is considered a unique and supportive opportunity for the private sector”, said the Eng. Osama AlAfaleq chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) and a board member of AlKifah Holding, “SCA has laid the foundations and standards that will raise the quality of buildings around the kingdom and today we look forward to serve the educational sector and the nation vision.”
It is worth mentioning that the conference will be held for two days on January 10 to 11 in Riyadh in alignment with an exhibition sponsored by Tatweer Buildings Company.
