On the evening of Wednesday, Rajab 10th, 1436AH, corresponding to April 29th, 2015, and within community enrichment sector in Al-Kifah Holding Company, Salih AlGhazi, CEO of Al-Kifah Publishing House, signed a partnership agreement with AlAhsa Literary Club. On behalf of the Club, this agreement was signed by Dr. Khalid AlJeryan; the Vice-Chairman of the Board.
By this agreement, Al-Kifah Publishing House will publish and distribute all of the Club’s publications. This cooperation is considered a natural partnership contract as the headquarter of Al-Kifah Co. is in AlAhsa, and the company always carry out programs that aim to enrich the society and achieve cultural and intellectual development.
AlAhsa Literary Club is considered a substantial outlet for AlAhsa’s writers and authors, and has a vital role as it is the biggest cultural institution in AlAhsa. Moreover, it is known that Al-Kifah House was the top Saudi publishing house on literary production for five years in a row, and, for the last year, it was the highest Saudi publisher of literary and Arabic production in Saudi Arabia. Al-Kifah Publishing House has, also, a tangible role at publishing books industry as well as in Saudi bookstores and international book fairs, and it is keen on sponsoring promising writers.
Such agreement that bought Al-Kifah Publishing House and AlAhsa Literary Club together would result in conducting joint signing ceremonies and seminars for the to be published books. They, also, will organize book fairs for adults and children as well as many other events immediately after the opening of the club’s new place which is on the sideline of this cooperation as it is a glowing action in such partnership between cultural institutions and the local publisher.
