The social responsibility arm of AlKifah Holding Company ( Athar AlKifah for Social Responsibility ) — signed a cooperation agreement with the Council of NGOs in the Eastern Province as part of its efforts to enhance the empowerment of national talent and increase their readiness for the labor market.

The agreement aims to support employment opportunities and develop skills in line with the needs of the Saudi labor market, while also serving the various companies within the Group. The agreement also seeks to strengthen coordination and integration between nonprofit organizations and the corporate social responsibility sector, contributing to unified efforts, improved initiative efficiency, and greater social impact across various programs and fields.

The signing of this agreement comes in alignment with the strategic direction of corporate social responsibility initiatives aimed at supporting community programs and empowering youth and national talent, thereby promoting sustainable development and contributing to building a promising professional future. Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate on designing and implementing specialized programs and initiatives that contribute to creating sustainable employment opportunities for Saudi talent, generating tangible social and economic impact.

Athar AlKifah stated that this partnership represents an important step toward strengthening its role in empowering national talent and maximizing its positive impact on society, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to supporting the national development journey through impactful CSR initiatives.

For its part, the Council of NGOs in the Eastern Province emphasized the importance of this partnership in supporting national efforts to empower talent and expand sustainable employment opportunities in line with the Kingdom’s development goals. At the conclusion of the signing ceremony, both parties expressed their aspiration to achieve tangible outcomes from this collaboration that contribute to building a more empowered and sustainable society.


AlKifah Holding and Ertiqa Association have established a strategic relationship that culminated in the signing of a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed for a duration of three years at AlKifah Tower.

The cooperation agreement between AlKifah Holding and Ertiqa Association encompasses multiple objectives, such as donating devices and promoting awareness about optimal technology usage.

AlKifah Holding is pleased with the history of this relationship with Ertiqa Association, which primarily aims to achieve the values of responsibility and excellence for AlKifah. The agreement was signed by Ms. Dana AlAfaliq, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Manager at AlKifah Holding, and the representative from Ertiqa Association Mr. Ali Batrfi as their corporate communications manager.

The agreement includes several key aspects, including supporting the association with surplus electronic devices and organizing educational programs and initiatives to promote the culture of refurbishing and recycling electronic devices of various types. Additionally, joint voluntary programs will be established for the employees of both entities to achieve social impact and corporate social responsibility.

Ertiqa Association is dedicated to collecting used computers, refurbishing them, and distributing them to beneficiaries of charitable organizations, non-profit volunteer programs, and educational programs. Their goal is to provide a sustainable social service that supports intellectual and scientific advancement, recycling, and environmental protection.

AlKifah Holding seeks to continue its partnership with Ertiqa Association by consistently and systematically supplying devices and assets to the association, in line with their commitment to social responsibility.

Striving Holding seeks to continue its partnership with the Irtqa’a Association with the goal of supporting the community through the ongoing and organized supply of devices and assets to the association as an initiative from us to recycle digital products. Holding and its group of companies focus on developing joint initiatives with local charities to achieve the company’s social sustainability goals.


Sheikh Hassan AlAfaleq Hospital for Rehabilitation Care was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Region, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, and His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Eng. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, and several Community members and businessmen.

The hospital was opened in 2006 with the clear aim of solving the shortage of beds that hospitals faced in 2002 in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. In 2018, AlKifah Holding contributed to the development of the hospital under the name “Sheikh Hassan AlAfaleq Hospital for Long-Term Care”, at an estimated cost of 20 million Saudi riyals, to become today the largest intensive care hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It was expanded to have a total area of ​​more than 2,700 square meters, and the hospital consists of the main building and the service building. Where the main building includes: reception, and administration, in addition to the admission rooms, whose capacity has increased to 80 beds, and the service building includes: warehouses, a hall for lectures and training, and other supporting departments.

The expansion included green spaces with an area of ​​(1,700) square meters and parking spaces for (50) cars. The development process did not depend on the building only but also included the medical staff, as the hospital is keen to train and qualify highly qualified medical and rehabilitation staff capable of helping patients, in addition to seeking to localize more jobs in various specialties.

This hospital is one of AlAthar AlHassan initiatives, which is the social responsibility arm of AlKifah Holding, that offers many initiatives under three basic criteria: health, education, and society. Where we participated in presenting many initiatives in various fields, most notably: establishing one of the largest non-profit schools in Al-Ahsa to support education, supporting and empowering youth through our long relationship with Al-Fateh Sports Club. We do not seek to stop the impact here, but we look forward to providing more together through community partnerships that ensure the achievement of impactful societal returns.




The Future Projects Forum 2023 was launched in its Fifth edition in Riyadh, where AlKifah Holding is sponsoring the forum as a platinum sponsor, the Forum for Future Projects aims to review more than 3,000 local projects with a value of about 800 billion riyals, with the participation of more than 2,000 interested and specialized in the sector.

 The Human Capital Management Department at AlKifah Holding has established an integrated training program to introduce the new human capital management model and to develop the skills of the Personnel Excellence Management Team.

 

The training program, which was set to fifty training hours, also targeted forty-four Personnel Excellence employees in AlKifah Group, and included an introduction to the new personnel excellence operational model and its internal processes.  In addition to an exploration of relevant governmental platforms,  internal HCM systems, and a simulation program.

 

It is noteworthy that the training program was designed and presented internally by AlKifah employees and in cooperation with several external parties; GOODAT Consultation Co., Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), and Eastern Chamber.

This knowledge transfer project is considered a part of the transformation program stages in the human capital system of Al-Kifah to enhance work efficiency and employee experience.

In connection with this visit, the Irish ambassador emphasized the extent of the Kingdom’s development within Vision 2030, seeking to strengthen international relations in support of the vision’s march.
